It’s only just more than 2 years since I decided to join Truly Rich Club founded by Bo Sanchez and GOSH!! So many things have changed in my life. I always tell everyone, it’s one of my best investments ever! I thought it’s just a dream to become a multi-millionaire in 2015 but NO not at all. It’s for REAL! And it’s 2016 now and my life just get more exciting every day! I have now invested into the Philippine stock market, as well as in New Zealand and Australian stock market. We finally bought our first home last year too here in New Zealand! Thanks to KiwiSaver ! No more renting thank God!

I started businesses in New Zealand and in the Philippines together with my beloved family and friends. I met a lot of entrepreneurs and great people and they became my mentors, they have worked closely with me to achieve my goals. The best thing is that it’s not all about the financial side of it, I would say that the most important thing is that I am happier and more grateful every day of my life. I have learned to appreciate all the little things around me, things as simple as the fresh air that I breathe. And the good thing is that I am able to give a lot to the people around me.

I have seen my family and friends got inspired and had their lives changed as well. And hearing sweet words like “THANK YOU ” just makes me smile. It gives me deeper happiness, even more than having a PRADA or LV bag.

I thought working abroad will make me achieve all my BIG DREAMS for myself and my family, I was wrong.

For most Filipinos, it’s a dream come true to be able to go abroad and work. Especially if you’re a Registered Nurse. It’s like automatic that everybody thinks you’re super rich when you’re working as a nurse abroad. No wonder almost everyone studied nursing. I remembered when I was still a student in year 2002, there’s a very high population of students taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing. And I remember a joke before, there’s only two kinds of people in the Philippines, either you’re a Registered Voter or a Registered Nurse. It means there’s so many nurses looking for jobs and opportunities to go abroad. Luckily, I saw an opportunity to be able to work in New Zealand with the guidance of my family and friends. I had struggles and trials along the way and that’s another story but finally at 24, I found myself living and working in New Zealand earning six digits of pesos! I feel so happy and blessed. But after 2 years of working, I thought working abroad will make me achieve all my BIG DREAMS for myself and my family, I was wrong.

I spent my one year of savings working in New Zealand as a nurse on my one month holiday in the Philippines. . And so I have to start from scratch again. As we termed it in the Philippines “ balik sa uno”. And this cycle can go on and on without us knowing.

After two years of being home sick, I decided to go home to the Philippines for a holiday. It’s my sister’s graduation who’s also a nursing student and I’m just so proud of her achievement. I am also proud of myself as I helped my parents send her to school.

On my first day in the Philippines, I spent P30,000 for my hotel room, shopping, and a dinner for the whole family and relatives. That actually made me stop and think. That’s $1000 New Zealand dollars and I can’t remember spending that much in one day in New Zealand. But I thought it was for everybody so I did not mind. Then I enjoyed my holiday with families and friends for a month in the Philippines. I was so happy to be able to have fun and spend time with them. And then I have to leave and go back to New Zealand and work again. When I got back, I checked my bank account and realized I splurged on my holiday in the Philippines. I ended up spending P500,000 in total of cash and credit card use. It actually took me months or even a year to work and save that amount of money. I spent my one year of savings working in New Zealand as a nurse on my one month holiday in the Philippines and so I have to start from scratch again. As we termed it in the Philippines “ balik sa uno”. And this cycle can go on and on without us knowing.

One day, I remembered I was talking to my sister and I’m crying. I shared to her my uncertainties in life. I’m not really sure what’s ahead of me. My direction is not clear.

One day, I remembered I was talking to my sister and I’m crying. I shared to her my uncertainties in life. I’m not really sure what’s ahead of me. My direction is not that clear. Though I was just 27 years old at that time, maybe I’m just too young to think about my future? But no, not really. When I was 18, I dreamt to be married at 27, have an amazing husband and a family, a house of my own, and at least be financially stable. And I thought having the opportunity to work abroad as a nurse will do all that but it didn’t.

Luckily, my sister is a qualified financial adviser in the Philippines and she’s a member of the Truly Rich Club. She shared to me bits and pieces of what she has been doing and I found out that she have more investments than I have when in fact she lives and work in the Philippines.

I’m not really sure what to say. Sometimes, I’m even scared to ring in sick or miss a shift without pay because it might not be enough for my bills and loan payments. And so I asked, am I living pay check to pay check? In a rat race?

That was my turning point. I told myself I’m going to do something really serious to change my financial state. But I don’t really know where to start. And how to do it. Ok I already have a stable job. Should I do more shifts and work more hours? I asked myself. Then she told me that it’s not really how much I earn rather it’s how much I spend and how I manage the cash that goes into my bank account every month. She encouraged me to sign up and join the Truly Rich Club and then I watched the video of Bo Sanchez talking about financial freedom and what it means . He said ask yourself how long can you live if you stop working today? Will you still be able to live with the same lifestyle you have right now? Are you still able to pay for rent or mortgage, buy food and petrol, pay for monthly bills? And it made me really think deeper. I’m not really sure what to say. Sometimes, I’m even scared to ring in sick or miss a shift without pay because it might not be enough for my bills and loan payments. And so I asked, am I living pay check to pay check? In a rat race? And I even thought I’m already good with money compared to my friends but I don’t really think I can live that long if I stop working.

Bo’s maids and drivers are investing into the stock market. And they’re only earning P7,000 to P10,000 a month and I’m a professional OFW earning six digits of pesos a month and I don’t even know anything about it and have no investment in the stock market at all.

When I started reading the FREE EBOOK “ My Maid Invested into the Stock Market”, it made me feel worse but it challenged me. Bo’s maids and drivers are investing into the stock market. And they’re only earning P7,000 to P10,000 a month and I’m a professional earning six digits of pesos a month and I don’t even know anything about it and have no investment in the stock market at all. Stock market to me sounded too scary and risky but as Bo explained it in the book, it’s actually very simple. And so my journey to financial freedom started with few clicks on my computer and a decision in my heart and mind that I will make big changes in my life. And 676 days have passed and here I am sharing my story to the world. Everything in my life slowly changed into something so amazing.

I will feel really bad if I just keep this to myself and not share it to others because I know it’s life changing.

I always loved sharing my beautiful experience to my family and friends and encourage them to do the same. And every now and then, I post something on Facebook and some of my friends get curious and ask me about it. I will feel really bad if I just keep this to myself and not share it to others because I know it’s life changing. But sometimes I just can’t keep up answering all their questions. So I decided and forced myself to make blogs even if I’m not really good in writing. I love Facebook founder Mark Zuckenberg’s line “ DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT” and so I’m doing it now because I have an amazing team to help me share my stories to the world.

It's not an accident you're reading my blog right now because today, I want to share to you a FREE Training Videos from my favourite mentor Bro. Bo Sanchez.
