AN URGENT REMINDER TO ALL FILIPINOS IN NEW ZEALAND ABOUT YOUR REMITTANCE !

[thrive_custom_font id=’null’]Please be very careful of the remittance service or money transfer service you use to send your hard earned money back home. [/thrive_custom_font]

[content_container max_width=’500′ align=’left’]I just read  some  post from our kababayans being  scammed or fooled by some money transfer  agent/agency. It breaks my heart  when I read their posts.  I know we all work hard here and every $$ counts.

Here’s some few  tips to make sure you can avoid being fooled or scammed.

1.Make sure you choose a reputable money transfer agency, one you can trust. Try to ask your friends around and ask for a referral. Make sure they already use that company for a certain period and they were satisfied by the services provided

2.Choose someone who gives a good exchange rate with low transfer fees. Shop around until you’re satisfied. Usually, the fees range to $5-$8.

3.Try electronic transfers or online transfers. New Zealand has a very good and safe online banking system. You can save a lot of time by doing it online. .You don’t  need drive and go to the bank to make an over-the- counter deposit.  It’s also easier to track your payment when you make the online transfer

P.S. Try to check Orbit Remit. I have been using it for few years now and I find their services very fast and efficient. They also provide great exchange rate and low service fees. Your first transaction is FREE.  Also check the benefits  they provide for their customers.
